We have notifed affected BeSlim^® Clients via email of this discontinuation, offering them the opportunity to modify their orders as needed. If they choose not to modify their orders, the discontinued Medifast Plus for Diabetics Strawberry Shake will automatically be replaced with the Medifast Strawberry Shake at $16.95 a box. As we near the depletion of our Medifast Plus for Diabetics Strawberry Shake inventory, we will notify our BeSlim Clients again as a courtesy reminder.

All Medifast Meals are formulated to be safe for people with diabetes under the care of a health care provider.

Please modify your and your Clients’ BeSlim^® orders as needed, and ensure that your Clients’ BeSlim^® Club orders are over $150 to continue receiving free shipping.

With the implementation of the improvements, we have updated our cancellation policy. BeSlim orders must be cancelled up to 6 pm EST the day before an order is scheduled to ship, effective Tuesday, May 28, 2013. 

BeSlim Club members will be notified of this change by email.  We look forward to this new system, which will help us to deliver value and efficiency to you and your Clients.

Dr. Andersen and I are thrilled to be able to tell you about a new addition to our Take Shape For Life Home Office team.

Jeannette Mills, who has been a dedicated member of Medifast’s Board of Directors since 2008, will be joining our corporate team as the Executive Vice President of Take Shape For Life. While on the Medifast Board, Jeannette had great exposure to all aspects of Take Shape For Life and has known Dr. Andersen and myself for many years.

Jeannette is currently the Sr. Vice President, Customer Operations and Account Services and Chief Customer Officer at Baltimore Gas & Electric. In her current role, she functions as executive level management responsible for the overall processes, systems, and planning—supporting both internal and external customer interfaces. During her 24-year career at BG&E, Jeannette was selected for many special leadership assignments, including the company’s organizational-wide strategic planning effort.

Jeannette’s exceptional skills in leadership, communication, people management, relationship building and team building will add tremendous value to both our internal Home Office team and our Field organization. Jeannette is extremely excited about this opportunity because as a Medifast Board Member, she has been to several Take Shape For Life events over the years and has a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for what our Health Coaches do every day to help others on their journey to Optimal Health. She feels proud to be able to support our Health Coaches and to be able to personally represent Take Shape For Life.

Jeannette has an amazing family and is blessed with two beautiful children, a 16-year-old daughter named Sinclaire and a 13-year-old son, Garrett. Jeannette was happily married for over 15 years and lost her husband Dave to esophageal cancer four years ago. Jeannette was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Virginia Tech and her MBA from Loyola University. Jeannette was recognized as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women and received the 2009 Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) Pioneer Award.  She is also a graduate of the 2009 Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC) Leadership and 2005 Leadership Howard County programs.  Jeannette is a member of the Advisory Board of The Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for Virginia Tech.  Savoy Magazine recognized Jeannette in 2008 as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America for her dedication to work and commitment to the community.  The Baltimore Business Journal selected her as a “top 40 executives in Baltimore under 40 years of age” in 2006.

We are thrilled to have someone with Jeannette’s experience, intellect and integrity joining our team. Jeannette is looking forward to meeting everyone at National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

Emails addresses exceeding 25 characters are currently unable to be used to log-in to COPE. We are working with our partners at Villanova University to support email addresses that exceed 25 characters to facilitate longer email addresses being used for log-in and will have this this corrected by May 31, 2013.  If you would like to access COPE presently and your email is more than 25 characters, you can update your email in OIM on the Profile page. If you don’t have a second personal email address available, remember that you can also use your dedicated TeamTSFL.com email address within your Office in Motion.
